Rosa moyesii 'Geranium' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub with green foliage. In fall and summer red flowers emerge followed by orange and red fruit. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.

When I went to Sissinghurst in 1989, this stunner was in full glory with its 3” hips in September. The plant was in the purple pink border and was such a showstopper. I vowed to find it. Finally at Berkeley Horticultural Nursery I found a plant. The single red flowers are not red or pink but an interesting color. We only have a few plants from cuttings.
