Enkianthus serrulatus is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with green foliage. In spring and summer white flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil.

Rarely available. This was one of J.C. Raulston's gift packages. J.C. would send boxes of interesting plants that we still grow many years later. This larger growing enkianthus has much larger urn shaped white lowers. Fall foliage is wonderful orange yellow and red. Small, well rooted plants.

A rare Chinese species, this Enkianthus has April and May pendent umbels of white, rounded bell flowers, the largest of the genus. Very upright and open in habit, it accommodates other plants well and can make an interesting sculptural form. To 8' T.Minimum temperature: -10 °F
