The yellow flowers appear only occasionally.
A colorful evergreen succulent perennial. The needle-like leaves are green when young and red with age, giving the plant a bicolor appearance. The whole plant turns bright red in fall in winter. Sedums grow best in well-drained, gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerant. Requires little water once established. Great as groundcover and container plant.
