An intergeneric cross of Graptopetalum and Sedum, this plant produces trailing rosettes of fleshy bronzy tinted gray foliage, which take on deeper reddish tones when the temps are cool. Use as a trailing accent in large succulent container combinations, or in the landscape in warm arid climates. shipping 4" pots.
Striking intergeneric hybrid to 4-5" and spreading with round pinky purple leaves, the color becoming more intense in winter. Full sun for best coloration; also best with some summer water. Otherwise, good drainage. Surprisingly frost hardy -- to 15 °F or so - mid USDA zone 8. Great addition to trough or container.
Intergeneric hybrid, succulent scrambling rosettes, lots of offsets, containers, hardy? 15 °F?
A compactly growing hot-chocolate leaved succulent borne of a tryst between a Sedum & a Graptopetalum. Graptosedum ‘Bronze’ spreads slowly, rooting occasionally along stems & is lovely for quilt-like patterning in succulent beds, in pots, or at the front of a dry border. Easy to grow, & even tolerant of a little shade so long as you don’t overwater! Looks great all year long! Flowers are inconspicuous & yellow. Make sure that you have good drainage if you’re planting it in a regularly watered area!
A Hummel hybrid, sometimes known as "Chocolate Donkeytail". These are very nice plants with yellow flowers and coral colored succulent leaves in good light. Can be used as a hanging basket or as a mound planted directly into the soil. New Aug. 2010
