-Ready late March 2016- Selected in Alaska and named by Linda Tinnity and Jim Fox, who grew up in Alaska - hence the name. Large, fully double purple flowers. A good grower and "doer". Grows in most well drained garden soils. Full sun is fine in higher elevation and/or cooler regions, otherwise needs a place without afternoon heat.
