Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Echeveria multicaulis has pretty, soft grey-green leaves tipped in red that form clumps of rosettes. Bright yellow-orange flowers! A small, slow-growing, low maintenance plant. Provide a well-drained soil away from reflected heat. Once established, water infrequently during the hot season. Ideal in warm climate landscapes and container gardens. Echeveria are especially happy sitting on your windowsill as a houseplant. Protect your PRINCE OF PARADISE™ plant from frost!
Easy echeveria species with small rosettes of fleshy green leaves with red on the edges, the color increasing in bright light and cold weather. Flowers are also particularly lovely -- red with yellow orange. Like all echeverias, these must have lean soil and very good drainage to avoid root rot. Water infrequently when the soil has dried (before the soil shrinks from the pot edges). Frost hardy to 25 °F, mid USDA zone 9 so best in containers that can be protected in winter. Crassulaceae
An easy to grow species, widely grown in the past but not as readily available in recent years. The red tinge on the leaves increases with the amount of bright light and the flowers are outstanding, red with yellow-orange.
