An oddball selection of ‘Pam’s Choice’, this baby has a branching compact habit on upright stems 3-4’tall topped with spikes of white bell shaped flowers, each split into 4 sections resembling ruffled pantaloons! Throats are generously speckled with maroon spots. Sun to part shade, moist average garden soil, reseeds (biennial). Deer resistant. A great ‘que es eso?’plant! USDA Z4–9
A fun selection of ‘Pam’s Choice’ with sassy split blooms slit on 3 sides, making them fluttery in the wind - neat! And all the better to reveal those tasty deep maroon spotty throats! Multiple 3-4’ stems arise from basal rosettes from late Spring to early Summer. EASY, elegant & vertically enhancing, it’s is a classic for reason - beautiful in any garden, placed just about anywhere & especially sweet at entrances, along fences, against walls or as background subjects. A good choice/solution for shady spots where little else blooms. Great cut flowers too! Provide well-drained soil with compost added for best show. Self-sows for generations of freebies & attracts bees!
