Pellaea rotundifolia, known as the Button Fern, is a compact, evergreen fern displaying glossy-green, arching fronds. Fronds have deeply lobed pairs of round leaflets that grow from dark-red stalks. Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil which is moist but not waterlogged. Prefers bright, filtered sunlight and is excellent as a houseplant or in a seasonal container. It’s a great choice in a terrarium, as a houseplant or an annual in most landscapes. Protect from drying winds and freezing temperatures!
