Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Begonia ‘Phoe’s Cleo’ features distinct, unusually star-shaped leaves that are chartreuse green with reddish brown markings. The compact, clumping foliage is carried on mahogany stems. Displays upright, light pink flowers above the foliage. Begonias grow best in well-drained, humus-rich soil with moderate water. They prefer high humidity and indirect sunlight. Apply a slow-release fertilizer sparingly in spring. This makes a beautiful accent plant for a border or container, but is primarily used as a houseplant. Protect from frost!
This modest grower reaches only 12" in height, making it perfect for container shade gardens or windowsills. Its chartreuse leaves with copper-red highlights throughout add a unique color dimension to any collection. It's a strong grower, like most rhizomatous begonias, and thrives under normal house conditions. Pink flowers will appear during the winter months just when floral color is needed the most.
