Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hoya carnosa ‘Compacta’ features long trailing vines crowded with twisted, green waxy leaves, giving it a rope-like appearance. Occasional large clusters of night fragrant, waxy, pink star flowers appear. Plants rebloom multiple times on same stem spur so do not remove. Hoyas are an easy care plant for hanging baskets indoor or out. It is also great trained up a trellis or support pole. This evergreen tropical vine actively grows in the warm temperatures of late Spring to Fall. Hoya carnosa ‘Compacta’ prefers a warm, humid environment with bright indirect light. Fertilize, mist and water regularly, reducing water in winter. Allow the soil to dry out between watering. Keep your Hoya above 55°F, or its growth might be stunted.
A curly leaf version of Hoya carnosa. Cascades beautifully out of a pot. Very unique plant for a hanging basket. Beautiful clusters of flowers that remind me of strawberry shortcake.
This plant brings a unique vitality to a home's interior. Its structure is unusual, with weeping stems which are covered by tightly-held convoluted leaves that resemble a rope. Unlike many hoyas, this one doesn't climb. In time, however, the heavy stems will droop over the edge of the container, making it ideal for hanging baskets. Clusters of small waxy pink flowers emerge among the tightly-held leaves.
Thick curled waxy leaves on a 6' hanging vine. Hardy to 35 °F.
All green version of rope hoya. Waxy pink flowers with age. Unusual twisted foliage. Very easily grown houseplant.
Dark green curled fleshy foliage is dense enough to appear as a living rope. Great for hanging baskets. From late spring to autumn, bears dense umbels up to 2 1/2 " across of 20 star-shaped, waxy, scented flowers. Unusual.
