Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rare and highly sought-after, Sansevieria 'Japonesa' is a new hybrid with stunning good looks. Somewhat similar to Cylindrical Sansevieria, the narrow v-shaped leaves arch back slightly and have a pointed terminal end. They have light and dark green mottling with horizontal dark green stripes as accents. This low maintenance exotic-looking succulent filters toxins from the air and has been used to prevent 'sick building syndrome." Sansevierias are a treasured houseplant and have a rich history in China. Because of their strength and long life, they are thought to impart the same virtues on the household where they are grown.
