Nursery contributed plant descriptions

White Lady Slipper Orchid blooms in spring and has a single white flower with pale pink in the pouch and a distinct raspberry fragrance. Flowers last 3-4 weeks. Since the plant only grows 4" tall, it makes an ideal windowsill specimen for a north or east window. Grow in well-drained potting bark and perlite and make sure the plant doesn't sit in a saucer of water. The mother plant sends out baby plants at the base. These young plants will flower the following year. We ship a blooming size plant not necessarily in spike.
