Clumping evergreen perennial, 6-8” tall mounding out to 12-18” wide sporting bold, glossy, elongated heart shaped foliage. In spring, you may see the strange flowers peeking out from under the leaves, white edged in purple black with violet striping and a black center (they are supposed to resemble a panda’s face but I confess I don’t see it!). Easy in rich, moist soil in light to moderate shade; deer resistant.
