This mandarin produces an abundance of sweet, seedless fruit that ripens during December just in time for the holidays. The small, deliciously sweet and easy-to-peel mandarins are some of the best tasting citrus we've ever eaten. Highly fragrant flowers appear on its arching branches from late winter to spring. It takes a year or two for container-grown Seedless Kishu Mandarins to begin bearing fruit but it's well worth the wait. The tasty fruit holds nicely on the tree adding to its ornamental appeal. Plants are grafted to improve vigor.
