Tropical Pitcher Plant 'Miranda' is an easy-to-grow carnivorous plant for the home. The sensational pitchers are up to 10" long and are green with red ribbing accentuated by a deep burgundy rim at the top and an attached cap. The pitchers form off the end of the leaves and 'Miranda' can easily be grown in a hanging basket. Each pitcher should always have a little bit of fluid in the base to keep it healthy. Flies and other insects are attracted to the fluid and will land in the pitchers providing a meal for this carnivorous plant. Grow in partial sun to shade with high humidity and good ventilation for optimum plant health.
