Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Native to Brazil, Red-Heart Porcelain Flower will bloom intermittently throughout the year. Its white china petals accented by a bright red center make this plant an attractive addition to any container garden. The leaves are leathery and can withstand low humidity and dryness. We've had our mother plant in a 7" pot for many years and it blooms steadily even when cramped in a small pot. This clone is easy to flower and it can be maintained under 2' tall. Grow in full to partial sun and watch the heaviest blooms appear in summertime.
