Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A dwarf ginger with brilliant color and reliable performance! Bright orange cones of blooms emerge from the upright stems with individual flowers opening successively over a period of two weeks or more. An intermittent bloomer throughout the year, with its two heavy blooming periods occurring in summer and winter. We especially like this ginger for winter color around the holidays as it consistently brings a heavy burst of bloom during the shortest days of the year. Mature plants stay under 2' in height and perform well under varying light conditions.
