Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Willow-Leaf Acacia exudes a sweet fragrance from its yellow puffy flowers. Its heaviest bloom time is in spring and summer but it can flower intermittently year-round. The long spires of fragrant flower balls form along the stem amongst the willow-leafed foliage, and it makes an excellent cut flower to add a hint of sweetness to any floral arrangement. Also known as Swamp Wattle, when grown outside in its native Australia, this acacia can grow up to 30' tall. However, it makes a great potted plant because it starts blooming at 3-4' tall, it's drought tolerant and generally easy to care for. Remember to prune after heavy bloom to contain its size.
