Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Yellow lemon guava, similar to the strawberry guava except fruits are often slightly larger (1-2"). Flesh is yellow, very fragrant, with the suggestion of a lemon-guava like flavor. Small bush or tree to 5-25ft. The frilly white flowers are often borne a couple of times a year, concentrated during warmer months. Lemon guava's are hardy to 22F when full grown.
The Lemon Guava is a tasty tropical plant that's well suited for container growing. The sweet, yellow fruit arrives in abundance from summer through fall. It can be grown successfully as a potted plant in northern zones.
