Intensely fragrant, this new cultivar of Sweet Olive has orange flowers that bloom repeatedly from fall through spring. Although the flower clusters are not as large as the standard orange variety, 'Apricot Echo' starts to bloom when the plant is only a couple of inches tall and it will flower in terminal panicles. Another interesting characteristic of 'Apricot Echo' is that the new leaves emerge burgundy and change to green as they age. Osmanthus 'Apricot Echo' makes an ideal potted plant for the indoor garden to add color and fragrance during the winter months.
