Once highly prized by New England florists for its stately elegance, this fern has beautiful deep-green fronds which rise 3-4' in a towering graceful vase shape. Sh-PSh/M (not dry)
One of the largest deciduous native ferns, named for James Goldie, (not for gold leaves). Large apple green fronds grow to 2-3' and form colonies slowly.
Stout & erect with variable shades of blue green to glowing green fronds with 15-20 pairs of pinnae from an impressively large crown. Plant in afternoon to light shade & moist, well drained soil. Zones 3 to 8. Size: 3 to 4 feet. Deciduous.
