Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Officially this oriental lily is supposed to grow to three feet. I beg to differ. After three years in my garden my clump of three bulbs have grown into giants and last year topped off at eight feet tall, each holding at least 15 huge eight inch diametre buttery yellow, sweetly fragrant flowers. For a similar effect plant in rich well drained soil in full sun. Best in groups of three to five for a dramatic visual and olfactory experience.
