    Mighty Mato Brandywine Grafted Tomato is a broadleaf deciduous, evergreen or semi-evergreen annual / biennial or perennial fruit / vegetable with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer yellow flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

    Brandywine' is a famous heirloom that produces 1 to 2 lb, scarlet-pink beefsteaks with high acid and sugar content. Considered one of the world's best-tasting tomatoes. It is also famously low-yielding but our customer Ken got 100 pounds of fruit off one Mighty Mato 'Brandywine' plant in 2013! 80-90 days. Indeterminate. Russian heirloom. 70-90 days. Indeterminate. Mighty Mato Tomatoes are hand grafted onto super strong tomato rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so tomatoes start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Mato grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
