Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fragaria 'White Carolina' is a flavourful, small, white strawberry with red seeds that tastes and smells like a cross between a strawberry and a pineapple (hence sometimes called a pineberry)! It is a self-fertile, everbearing variety that will give you fruit from June right through the summer. Plants are big and vigourous with lush, shiny leaves and long stolons. Expect good production to start in year 2 and beyond. Everbearing strawberries produce their first crop in spring and continue producing in six week intervals until fall. Prefers organically rich, evenly moist soils with good drainage in full sun.
