This selection has full, mophead flower clusters rather than the usual lacecaps characteristic of H. aspera. Produced late in the season, the elegant flowers open in tones of chartreuse, ripening to ivory with a lavender blush. The velvety textured, lance-shaped foliage extends to 8 inches in length. Plants can reach 8 feet tall and 5 feet wide. A Dan Hinkley collection from Sichuan, China.
