Powerfully fragrant white flowers are set off by shiny, forest green leaves that are a striking orange-brown on the undersides. Bloom begins in early-summer and continues off and on until fall. A very handsome evergreen tree. Upright and columnar in youth, becoming more pyramidal and open with age.
Has some of the best indumentum under the leaves. When you get the young plant there won't be any indumentum, but within a couple of years the deep brown indumentum will show up. The flowers are the typical creamy white in summer.
