Nursery contributed plant descriptions

'Lipstick' is a Rare Find Nursery introduction with flirtatiously sweet creamy white flowers rimmed and infused with rosy red. The flowers are held in clusters on dangling stems in mid-late spring. Fall color is fabulous; depending on the temperature and amount of late summer rainfall the foliage turns shades of coppery gold to orange to red. Plants grow slowly with an upright habit to 4-6' tall in 5-6 yrs and grow well in either sun or part shade, though fall color is best with more sun.
Small, white-cream bell flowers dipped in bright red-pink hang in racemes from layered branches in spring. Small deciduous leaves turn red, orange, and purple in fall: one very elegant shrub. 4-6' T x 2-3' W Minimum temperature: -25 °F
Enkianthus has bright green glossy foliage that turns brilliant coppery to red in the fall. It has pendulous racemes of campanulate flowers in spring that hang from the layered branches like clusters of delicate bells.
