Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An uncommon species in cultivation slowly gaining interest and for good reason. This selection has unusual somewhat toothed reddish chocolate brown foliage all fall, winter and spring with green foliage in summer. The lavender flowers emerge in spring on big boisterous mounds of gorgeous foliage about two feet tall and wide. They make a great statement in my own garden!
