As with many yarrows this one changes in tones as the flowers age. Beginning with bright cherry red the flowers eventually fade to a lighter pink. Lovely with pink Lychnis 'Jenny' and Geranium psilostemon, or toned down with Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' or Campanula poscharskyana.
Wide, flat clusters of bright cherry-red flowers are born on stout 2' stems above feathery foliage for long periods in summer; good cut flower. S/M-Dry
