Sedum Amber is a deciduous cactus / succulent with blue foliage. In fall and summer magenta and pink flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil.
Small cute 12 inch high and two foot wide mounds of lightly scalloped,greyish green leaves make a great addition to the border or the rock-garden. Dark cherry pink flowers almost cover the plant in late summer.Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter.
