Fouquieria diguetii is a broadleaf evergreen or semi-evergreen cactus / succulent, shrub or tree with green foliage. In spring and summer orange and red flowers emerge. Attracts hummingbirds. Also known as the Boojum Tree or Ocotillo. Native to Southern California, Baja, and Mexico. Grows a nice bonsai shape, caudex has lovely peeling bark. Spiny Branches can get quite long but should be trimmed for best look if kept in a pot. Bright orange flowers at the ends of the branches.
