Everlasting sweet pea (Lathyrus latifolius) is a zone 5 hardy relative of the annual sweet pea that gardeners grow from seed each year for its bold colours and fragrance. 'Pearl Mixture' offers a mix of plants with either white, pink or reddish-pink flowers. They will climb adjacent plants or structures or clamber across the ground and pop up amongst its neighbours in the perennial border or act as a boisterous, billowy ground cover. Alas, everlasting sweet pea is not fragrant like its annual relative but it is quite beautiful and will come back year after year. Popular with bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
