Nursery contributed plant descriptions

"Twiggy" - Yellow-green, bird cage flowers. If you like weird, you just have to have this plant! Rooted cuttings. Great hanging basket plant. The nickname is our own. We've always enjoyed this curious little Madagascar gem. A real conversation starter. (This is one of those plants where a sense of humor is helpful.) The pendant "twigs" are purple in bright sun, the new growth is green, and the flowers are little chartreuse bird cages! Easy to grow. Dry in the winter, moderate water in summer; hardy to 32 °F.
