Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Very upright, stunning selection, perennial evergreen sedge with narrow, fine textured leaves in a coppery-bronze hue; clumps are 18-24” tall with arching tips and somewhat narrow. Outstanding in clumps of three or more. Thrives in organic, rich, moist, well-drained soil in sun to part shade; nice in rain gardens and edging water features, pots.
This richly coloured selection of leatherleaf sedge has wiry, orangey-reddish-brown foliage in a nice vase shape. Great in containers and, because of its texture and shape, great in combination with almost anything! Originally from New Zealand.
