Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Has deep green foliage with silver highlights. The veins and margin are green with the silver in between. Blue flowers appear in March.
Unique and beautiful, the amazing and eye-catchingly variegated silver-on-green foliage of this great two foot mounding groundcover is thick and crinkled; this brightens up dark corners and thrives in shade and can also withstand heat and humidity; great in containers, borders or mass plantings! PSh/M PPAF
Why choose 'Sea Heart' over 'Jack Frost', you ask? During trials in the mid Atlantic States, where summer heat and humidity can take its toll 'Sea Heart' held up much better. The foliage appears the same, but 'Sea Heart' blooms a week earlier, and has multi tone blue lavender flowers in early-mid spring. Grows 12-15" tall and wide.
Sea Heart' looks much like 'Jack Frost' but with some important differences: 'Sea Heart' has larger, thicker leaves, it blooms a few weeks earlier with flowers in blue and lavender rather than just blue and it is more tolerant of heat and humidity. Brunneras are great garden plants for shade. 'Sea Heart' has boldly silver-frosted, heart-shaped leaves which set off the blue and purple flowers to perfection.
