Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Adorable honey-scented white flowers resembling puffballs, grace this shrub in summer. The blooms are followed by interesting red fruits and outstanding wine-red fall color. This eastern U.S. native shrub was often too large for most gardens. Luckily this cultivar was bred to be smaller, reaching only half the size at 3-4 feet. S/M-W PPAF
Also called Buttonbush, 'Sugar Shack' is an easy-to-grow, compact, ornamental shrub that provides four-season color in the landscape. In early summer, fragrant, white flower spheres appear followed by small reddish fruit in late summer. The fruits hang on the shrub from fall through winter. In the fall, the leaves turn an attractive burgundy color. 'Sugar Shack' can tolerate a moist location in the landscape.
Native to wet sites, but usually too big for most landscapes. Not anymore! Cut the size in half and add colorful red fruit with glossy foliage that turns a vibrant red in fall. Add in Jetson-style, fragrant white flowers and you've got a delightful plant that shines from spring to fall. Attracts: Bees, Butterflies, Hummingbirds
