Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A tiny, compact and gorgeous little butterfly bush (24 inches x 24 inches). Orchid-pink and fragrant flowers begin blooming earlier than other cultivars, and continue until frost! This is a very tidy, highly deer and rabbit resistant shrub that makes a stunning addition to perennial beds, container gardens, mass plantings and borders.

Lo & Behold® Pink Micro Chip Butterfly Bush is the smallest plant in this award winning series. Despite its diminutive size, it produces an abundance of cute flower spires. It looks like a flowering perennial with the long-lived toughness of buddleia. Lo & Behold® Pink Micro Chip Butterfly Bush attracts butterflies and hummingbirds all season. Blooms earlier than most buddleia. Photo and descriptions courtesy of Proven Winners - www.provenwinners.com - USPP26547

From the Lo & Behold series comes 'Pink Micro Chip' a true dwarf buddleia with fragrant pink flower spikes and a nicely mounded growth habit that only reaches 2' high. Planted directly in the ground, it flowers continuously from summer through fall and never needs deadheading. Pollinators such as butterflies, hummingbirds and bees are attracted to its light, sweet scent. Because it's a hardy perennial, 'Pink Micro Chip' returns each year with more vigor and blooms. It can also be used as an annual in window boxes where it adds texture, color and fragrance to a mixed planting.
