Vintage Jade Distylium looks the same 24/7 and through the seasons. Does that make it timeless? We think so. When you're designing your plantings the subtle dark blue-green leaf color and spreading shape are the elements to consider. Please note that the leaves are a calm blue-green, they are not a vivid powder-blue or silver-blue, say like Artemesia or Cedrus atlantica. They are more green than blue, but they are quite handsomely blue tinged. The flowers are red, but you may not even notice them.
