Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Magnolia 'Daybreak' is a stunning, delightfully fragrant, multi-coloured hybrid offering bright tones of magenta, mid pink, light pink, and salmon. When the flowers are fully open, the dark pink reverses and light pink inner sides of the petals contrast beautifully. It blooms late enough that is rarely affected by frosts. A larger magnolia growing to 20-30 feet tall and 15-20 feet wide. For the 2025 Rare Flowering Tree Pre-Order plants will be in 1g pots and about 1-2 feet tall.
This rich pink magnolia has a lovely peachy orange flush. Truly a different color to add to the garden.
Gorgeous, very fragrant bright rose-pink flowers grace this late flowering small tree (M. brooklynensis Woodsman x Tina Durio by Kehr). S/M
The late August Kehr of Hendersonville, NC considered this his finest magnolia hybrid, and we whole-heartedly agree. Upright in form, the blooms are delightfully fragrant. It has two significant attributes. First, it blooms much later than M. x soulangiana so the flowers seldom freeze. Second, the rich pink flowers have a crisp, translucent character to them that makes a dramatic contrast to the duller pink blooms of M. x soulangiana selections. These plants are quite a prize.
Large deep pink, fragrant flowers May. Deciduous, USDA zones 5-8
Very fragrant, rose-pink flowers 10" in diameter! Dr. Kehr has made another winner hybrid. Voted the 2nd best Magnolia by those in the know. Very upright and vigorous in habit.
