This lily of the nile is about the tallest of them all. Large umbels of dark blue-violet flowers are held on 5-5 1/2 ft stems in mid-late summer. A vigorous grower, it is extraordinary in containers or in the garden. Cold hardy to USDA zone 7. PP7297
Vivacious clone that grows to 4 feet tall and has dark blue violet blooms above lush green leaves.
This is said to be one of the largest growing of the agapanthus. The deep blue flowers are in umbles in late July and will make a beautiful bridge from the mid summer to the late summer flowers. From our growing these agapanthus for many years, they will defoliate most winters and will survive down to 5° F.
