The deliciously-fragrant blossoms of 'white forsythia' are such a treat, especially since they come right when you are feeling most desperate for spring! This lovely pink-flowered variety is a gem! The small shell-pink flowers appear on bare-stems and have a pretty, dainty look to them. This compact, multi-stemmed shrub reaches 4-6' and makes a nice backdrop or hedge after the bloom season. The "pink flowered" White Forsythia. Same size and zone as the white form. Lovely scent.

There is something to be said for a hardy fragrant early spring flowering shrub. Hmmm, What would that be? Nice? Better than nice? This white forsythia is pink! Light pink flowers appear in late February on a 5-6' open shrub. Plant has fragrant flowers and could probably be a good host for a small flowered clematis or an annual vine.
