Deep pink fringed flowers make this spring show-off a hit in any garden where its 4-6' mounding habit and gracefully arching evergreen-leaved branches are handsome all year. S-PSh/M
Growth Rate fast
The burgundy new foliage matures to a nice olive green creating a lovely contrast from spring through fall. There is a heavy bloom in spring and the shrub continues to bloom sporadically all season. Beautiful raspberry-colored fringe flowers are exciting all season long.

One of the first 'red' (really rose-pink) flowered forms to hit the trade. This plant appears to be the same plant that is marketed under the name 'Monraz'. The foliage emerges a rose-red turning to medium green. In coastal climates, where new growth is always occurring, this can lead to a multi-colored effect in foliage! Not true red, but certainly closer to red than other varieties which are pink or deep pink. Best leaf color in sun.
