Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - high water. Does well in rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

Very tall banana from Yunnan. Grows up to 35' high if planted in the shade. Native to southern Yunnan Province, China where it can take some frost. We are not sure how much frost it can take, but could prove to be hardy in zone 7 or 8. Seeded banana, will burn in full sun.
