Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Named by Gossler Farms in the late 60's. There were originally 6 magnolia campbelli sent from Charles Raffill from Kew in the early 1950's. There is still a huge M. campbelli at the James garden in Eugene. The plant at Hendricks Park is long gone. (-12º F in '72 did it in). The flowers are beautiful cup and saucer pink.
