Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Harvard Gold' Sawara Cypress is a new selection with bright yellow foliage about the color of a lemon peel. It is brighter than the Goldcrest Cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa 'Wilma') which was the brightest yellow cypress we grew before adding this variety. The Goldcrest Cypress has a much more golden hue while the 'Harvard Gold' cypress has a neon yellow color.
'Harvard Gold' is a super dwarf plant that grounds in a tight mound to only about 2-3 feet tall and wide. Plants look their best when planted next to blue, silver, and purple colored plants or plants with deep red flowers.
A slow-growing conifer with bright gold soft-textured foliage.
A very bushy soft textured form of C. pisifera that is a beautiful gold. Said to be the most golden of any C. pisifera cultivars.
A dwarf Sawara Cypress with incredibly intense yellow foliage. Probably the most yellow of all Sawara Cypress. Very dramatic and eye catching in the landscape. New from the noted plantsman, John Mitsch.
