Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Among the hardiest of boxwoods, this dwarf shrub (2' to 2 1/2') has a spreading habit and small dark-green leaves. PSh/M
Dense, evergreen shrub reaching 3 x 3 feet. Responds well to pruning. Tiny, chartreuse-colored flowers open in early spring hidden amongst the foliage. People strolling the garden that time of year have trouble trying to figure out where the sweet scent is coming from.
A small evergreen commonly used for hedging, but also a good choice for accents and boarders, tiny leaves and branching pattern create a dense little shrub that takes pruning very well. Drought tolerant once established.
Zones: 5-10. Kingsville is the best of the mini boxwoods. It is the tiniest leafed, slowest growing boxwood that we have found. In 10 years maybe 6" tall. Prefers morning sun or partial shade. Full sun in cool summer areas and West Coast. Use as a perfect mini hedge, or landscape tree in mini scenes. Good in troughs, Saikei tray scenes, Mame Bonsai. LiveScale© Choice-Mini Perfection! Photo shows older plant trimmed as mini tree. Shipping size small: 2-3".
With a tailored demeanor clipped or not, this undemanding Boxwood is second-to-none for hedging, edging, accenting the rockery or sculpting a topiary or bonsai specimen. Young downy branches and lustrous, small elliptical leaves in crisp dark greens define the dwarf rounded form that grows slowly and a little less densely. A reliably cold tolerant evergreen, it can be planted as a low and refined verdant border, allowing more rambunctious plants to exuberantly spill over.
A good choice for northern areas, this extremely hardy Buxus has small, dark green leaves which take on a burnished winter look. Exhibits slow growth to 2' high by 4' wide at maturity.
