Campanula lactiflora 'Loddon Anna'

Campanula lactiflora 'Loddon Anna' is a special form of the milky bellflower with pale pink to lavender-pink star-like flowers in large, conical clusters atop tall upright to slightly arching stems 3-4 feet tall in summer. It is a classic, old-fashioned cottage garden perennial that offers whimsy and a reminiscence of simpler times. Plants are also long-lived and great for adding height in the middle to back of the border. Perfect in combination with English style roses including David Austins. Trim back fading flowers to encourage a second flush in late fall. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.

We love this plant just as much in winter when we pull back the mulch to see its crisp, fleshy white buds slumbering away the cold months.
