Kalanchoe beharensis is an evergreen cactus / succulent or shrub with blue foliage. In winter green and yellow flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Grows well with sun - bright shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer, dry when dormant. Felty large sage green succulent leaves, on upright shrubby plants, can add a dramatic thrust to large containers, or in gardens, where hardy. Be aware that it can get sizable (10' ) with age, but can be pinched back for container culture. Shipping 4" pots.
Grows into a large tree with umbrella shaped crown of foliage. Fuzzy, soft leaves with copper and teal tints. Will grow only to size of pot provided; here in the ground in Florida, can grow up to 6 feet tall.
A woody-stemmed succulent with large, silver-grey, arrowhead-shaped, concave leaves covered in soft, felt-like hairs. Mature leaves display a rusty brown colour. The flowers are greenish yellow. In areas cooler than zone 11, this kalanchoe may be grown in a container that is overwintered indoors in a sunny window.

Kalanchoe beharensis, known as the velvet leaf or Elephant ear plant. This woody succulent makes a lovely solitaire plant for the sun room. Large broad arrow shaped lobed leaves are thick and fleshy texture, rich green but densely rusty haired above, silvery felted beneath. Clusters of yellowish urn shaped flowers.
