Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Isothecium stoloniferum commonly known as Tree Moss. This is a very versatile living moss. Taking on many forms in different environments. Shady areas are best for growing this moss but we have seen nice clumps growing in full sun here in the Northwest. Grows well on trees and decaying stumps or just provide some leaf mold substrate for wherever you want to grow it. Great moss for growing orchids, terrarium and vivarium plantings and many arts and craft projects. You may receive a moist or a dry moss depending on our season the dry moss is still alive and will revive with a good soaking.
