Sought after by collectors, this slow growing Agave makes a stunning container subject in colder climates, and an imposing specimen in warm dry ones. White centered foliage is edged in dusky blue green, and care should be taken when handling due to the vicious spines at its leaf tips. Eventually expect a a 2' x 3' specimen in a container, and up to 3-4' tall and 6' wide in the ground where it is hardy.
This beautiful variegated form has bluish green leaves with a creamy white centre. Perfect for creating pots of high visual impact on your patio or balcony. Underplant with Echeveria for a sophisticated touch. Reportedly hardy to minus nine Celsius, larger plants will likely be fairly hardy if kept dry and given some protection from cold. Smaller plants make a distinctive and no nonsense houseplant over the winter in a sunny window. Available in small quantities and not every year.

Large spiny sage green leaves are ornamented with a pale yellow margin. Quite impressive with age.
Beautifully variegated, diminutive form, with rosettes spreading to no more than 2-3', the beautifully curved leaves colored a dusty blue-green with a wide creamy stripe in the center. Slowly offsetting in bright light and well-drained soil with occasional summer water. As luck would have it, this is one of the forms hardier to frost with plants surviving 10 to 15 °F, USDA zone 8, in soil that is dry in winter. Pull in or cover below 20 °F or so in areas of winter wet.
